Pierre-Louis Mascia, trained as an illustrator, hails from Toulouse, France. He launched the Pierre-Louis Mascia line in 2007, under the direction of the Uliassi brothers, owners of the Achille Pinto printing house in Como, whose prestigious history dates back nine decades of excellence in the industry.
The collection, which started with scarves, has since transformed into a lifestyle offering that today includes a selection of ready-to-wear and a Maison collection.
The subtle contrast of electricity is the distinctive feature: the design is clean, almost bare, while the eye is constantly stimulated by the psychedelic yet rigorous swirl of patterns and colors flowing across the surfaces. The peaceful struggle between Bauhaus rigor and Rococo abandon translates into a mix of control and anarchy.
